Oh, C'mon....

Hold on to your hats here. I'm actually going to be defending Ted Kennedy.

The New York chapter of the National Association of Women has accused Ted Kennedy of something akin to sexual discrimination by endorsing Barack Obama.  They say:

"Women have just experienced the ultimate betrayal. Senator Kennedy's endorsement of Hillary Clinton's opponent in the Democratic presidential primary campaign has really hit women hard. "

"We are repaid with his abandonment! He's picked the new guy over us. He's joined the list of progressive white men who can't or won't handle the prospect of a woman president who is Hillary Clinton."

Actually, he's joined the list of progressive white men who can't or won't handle the prospect of Hillary Clinton as the President.

In NOW's defense, Ted doesn't have a stellar record with the ladies...at least one....left in a car....under water.....but I digress.
